How do the On-line Classes Work?

LS Coding & Education LLC's AAPC e-learning program assists individuals interested in becoming a Certified Professional Coder (CPC).

 

Distance learning allows you to learn medical coding from the comfort of your own home. The website is available 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

There are 100 class sessions that are approximately 1 to 11/2 hours in length.

When the student has completed a session he or she is directed to proceed to the next session or to take a chapter test at the appropriate time.

All handouts are available on the website for you to print on your home computer.

Tests are sent via e-mail, in the form of a PDF interactive file.

The student fills in the correct answer or chooses the correct multiple choice answer. After completing the test he or she simply clicks on the "submit" button to send the test back to the instructor for grading.

Tests are graded and returned to the student within 3-5 business days.
