Human Anatomy/Physiology & Medical Terminology

Be prepared for the AAPC ICD-10 test.  Coding using ICD-10 requires greater Medical Terminology and A/P skills.

Anatomy/Physiology/Medical Terminology

The Anatomy/Physiology/Medical Terminology Course is intended for students who need to brush up on their skills or for students who have little or no knowledge of anatomy, physiology or medical terminology.

It is an ideal course for the coder who is preparing to take the AAPC ICD-10 test to retain certification.

ICD-10 coding will require greater knowledge of Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy/Physiology.

This course covers basic body systems, including the function of each system as well as its anatomy and physiology. Also included is a summary of common anatomy and physiology word parts for each system.

Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy/Physiology is included in the PMCC Coding Curriculum for an additional $100.00

• Live class is an 8 week course with exercises and final exam
• On-line course consists of 32 sessions presented in a pre-recorded classroom environment with lectures, handouts, and visual aids
• Exercises and final exam also included
